JADE magazine has actively supported The Guild of Erotic Artists
since the organisation was formed in 2002. It is an organisation run by artists for artists.
Its successful aim, to bring together the best in erotic art across the globe,
has exceeded expectations in providing a place to expand the commercial value
and exposure of erotic art.
This is the first such art movement for many
decades. The medium can be painting, sketching, sculpture, body casting, body
painting, photography, stained glass or any other form of erotic art.
The Guild
is a non-profit organisation, supported by annual fees from its members. The
Guild hosts social events throughout the year to raise funds and to provide a
sense of community for supporters of erotic art. An example is the monthly
Guild Event Days which promote and exhibit erotic art in a very popular party
setting and encourages members of the public to join in and try their hand at
artwork themselves.
The studios provide artists with a social environment in
which to network, exhibit and store their work in secure premises and most
importantly, the opportunity to buy and sell works. Parties, auctions and stage
sets are all part of the planned events.
