THE GREAT WAR is a printed 76-page magazine published bi- monthly, it is not a web-based publication. Each issue is published and dispatched in the first full week of the month of publication (actual publication dates are printed on the back covers of each preceeding issue). The magazine is available by subscription only and is dispatched in heavy duty plastic Postsafe envelopes for security and to prevent damage/tampering.

GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS: We can easily arrange for Gift Subscriptions for Christmas and birthdays etc., - however, these are usually best ordered by phone so we can discuss the various arrangement options with you first. Where a Gift Subscription is being sent to the person ordering it, or to the same address as the person recieving it, then it can be ordered in the normal way.

SAMPLE COPY: We normally send the first issue of the current year (see above) as a sample. The amount paid for the sample copy is then deducted from the subscription should you decide to subscribe.

SAMPLE PAGES: For visitors who would like to see a few sample pages before ordering here are a number of sample pages in low resolution PDF format (the magazine is high resolution printing on gloss art paper) so you can see something of the magazine's style and format. These are individual pages chosen at random from the first 6 year's issues.
