EDDIE - THE GREAT WAR'S OFFICIAL MASCOT

Little rescue dog EDDIE joined the team on Saturday 12th January 2002. A great little character and a charmer if ever there was one, we named him after the terrier in the TV show 'Frasier'. He was just 20 months old when he arrived and has captured everyone's hearts. Eddie is now the official mascot of The Great War magazine and The Second World War magazine.

He has so captured readers' hearts that he regularly gets letters, cards and gifts sent to him through the year, but especially on his birthday 21st April, and many subscribers actually ask after him when renewing their subscriptions by phone.

Such has been his popularity that we now have an 'official' postcard of him featuring the picture above.
